It may take a few hits to aggro him. Idk if you can pickpocket him but if you can pickpocket him and get caught so he gets mad. There is not much time to hit him after the spawn. Yes you can pickpocket him and steal his soul jar but it doesn’t get him aggro. Destroying the jar right away doesn’t help either.
